WNIT's mission is to create and broadcast content that educates, informs and inspires everyone throughout the Michiana community. To do this, WNIT offers programming that expands the minds of children, documentaries that open up new worlds, news programs that keep citizens informed on world events and cultures, and programs that bring the worlds of music, theater, dance, and art to your living room, all free of commercial interruption and influence.

How to Support WNIT - Your Local PBS Station

The vast majority of fundraising for public television takes place at the local level, WNIT - PBS Michiana. There are many ways to show your support of WNIT Public Television. Make a donation to become a member and learn more about our connections to the community, broadcast schedules, events and more. Become a WNIT Sustaining Member and make an ongoing monthly contribution. Give a gift membership to someone special. See if your employer matches charitable gifts to make your donation dollars go even further. Donate your time and volunteer at one of our events like the annual Kids Day in the Park or Michiana's Rising Star.
