Outdoor Elements - Reducing Invasives and Protecting Habitats

When common landscaping plants escape into natural areas they dramatically alter the habitat.  Evie and Steve Sass take a look at some examples of how some invasive landscaping plants are causing a problem for native plants at Obrien Park in South Bend.  The state of Indiana has added some rules to eliminate the use of certain invasives being used.  South Bend has created their own ordinance to create a more complete list of things that shouldn't be used for landscaping.
