Have you ever heard of Baintertown? Most people probably haven’t, but it’s a place that plays a big role in the development of Elkhart County. Evie and Patrick McGuire from the Elkhart County Historical Museum visit the site of Baintertown to learn about how the area was once an Indian village, the home to several mills, and a place that created electric power for an interurban trolley system.
