A Spring Peeper is a fairly small frog, but a group of them creates a big sound that can be a sign of Spring and warmer weather ahead. Evie found a young Spring Peeper at the ND LEEF site at St. Patrick's County Park.

In our area there are a couple of different types of Grass Frogs that you can be on the lookout for next time you are walking a grassy trail, especially near wetlands. A tree frog is pretty recognizable with its suction cup like feet. That's if you can find it. Tree frogs change colors to blend in with their surroundings. A viewer sent us some pictures of a tree frog that they found hanging on their house and blending in with their siding.
