Experience Michiana is made possible in part by the Community Foundation of St. Joseph County, and the Indiana Arts Commission, which receives support from the State of Indiana and the National Endowment for the Arts.
There's a new device, designed locally that is helping those with Autism, ADHD and PTSD. It's called REST, which stands for Relaxing Equine Simulator Therapy. It's a seat that replicates the motion of a horse's relaxing gait. We get a demonstration of the device and talk about how it was developed from Marilyn Brown and Harriet Phillips.
