The La Porte County Symphony Orchestra is having their Hoosier Star Concert that will crown a winner for this years Hoosier Star Competition. The St. Joseph River has been critical to this region since people first decided to make a home on it’s shores. People come from all over to the Plymouth Blueberry Festival, and one of the things that draws people in are the hot air balloons that people can take a ride on and light up the night sky for a Hot Air Balloon Glow.

    The St. Joseph River has been critical to this region since people first decided to make a home on it’s shores. What the river has meant for the people has changed but it’s importance remains the same. The Producers of WNIT’s documentary “Then, Now and Always: The St. Joseph River Story” shared with Kelly the process they went through and some of the things they learned.
