Professor Steven Hansen talks about what he learned at the Department of Art, Art History and Design at Notre Dame. Then, Professor of Art Leticia Bajuyo has some of her artwork on display at the Snite and will talk about her approach to teaching. We'll hear about what activities are happening at Notre Dame Center for Arts and Culture and we'll get a tour of the The Snite Museum of Art.

The Department of Art, Art History and Design at Notre Dame is a multidisciplinary department that offers programs of study in studio art, art history and design. Steven Hansen went through the program and has a Masters of Fine Arts and now is a professor teaching art at Andrews University. Alex Schaufele is the art curator at the Notre Dame Center for Arts and Culture, which is actually located off campus at 1045 W. Washington Street in the West Washington National Historic Register District of South Bend. The building houses the Crossroads Gallery, Segura Fine Arts Studio and the University’s Office of Community Relations.
