Then, the biggest art exhibit of the year is underway at the South Bend Museum of Art it's called Window on the West. Downtown and Uptown Buchanan businesses are busy preparing for this year's White Saturday event taking place Saturday, November 29th. The biggest art exhibit of the year is underway at the South Bend Museum of Art. It's called Window on the West, and it includes the first paintings and drawings by non-indigenous people as the west was explored for the first time. The museum has also partnered with the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi for this exhibit, which goes through January. On November 16th, the museum playus host to an event called "The Rich Pokagon Culture" as members of the tribe will be doing drum and dance demonstrations, story telling and there will be native foods available for sampling. The holiday season will begin with a warm glow of hundreds of luminaries in downtown St. Joseph, Michigan on November 21st for the 20th Annual Luminary Festival. Jill Stone tells Gordy that it will be a festive occasion for all ages, and they'll have refreshments, entertainment, and gift ideas from participating restaurants and shopkeepers.
