The Southold Dance Theater has a long tradition in our community of teaching ballet and producing award winning and professional dancers. Kelly caught up with the Artistic Director and 2 of the dancers to hear about their success at a recent competition. They also gave a preview of the upcoming performance of Cinderella that will be happening June 3rd, 4th and 5th at the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center.
The Michiana Annual Arts Competition brings in the work of artists from all throughout the region. Courtney took a trip up to the Box Factory for the Arts to see the works from that competition selected to be in this years show. She'll even talk with the winner of the Best of Show Award.
The Krasl Art Center in St. Joseph, Michigan has a full schedule of events and classes that will be happening this summer. There's a tour to see sculpture placed throughout the communities of St. Joe and Benton Harbor. The Sumer Art Market on the Green is happening one Saturday a month now thru September. There are a bunch of Indoor and Outdoor classes for all ages. And the 60th Annual Art Fair on the Bluff will take place July 9th and 10th. Dave sat down with Jamie Balkin to get a preview of the busy summer at the Krasl.
