Water is such an important natural resource. And in an area like North Webster where lakes are all over the place, it’s a vital part of life. Krista Bailey talks with Lyn Crighton about what things they are doing to improve the water in their area and to get a tour of a traveling Smithsonian exhibit called “Water|Ways” that is at the North Webster Public Library through August 7th.
Get more info on the exhibit here: http://www.nweb.lib.in.us/waterways/index.html and find out about the watershed foundation here: https://watershedfoundation.org/

There are more and more CSA farms in our area where people can partner with farmers to buy a share of the harvest at the beginning of the season and get the returns throughout the summer. But Singletree Farm is a little different CSA because they are a flower farm. They deliver beautiful bouquets throughout the growing season for pickup at the Goshen Farmers Market. Krista Bailey gets a tour of the farm from owners Kate and Scott to see how this is a sustainable practice.
