Welcome back and thanks for tuning in for a new season of Economic Outlook on WNIT. Hopefully you’ve enjoyed some of your past favorite shows over the summer. We’re back in the studio now busy filming our new season and we believe we’ve got some great shows planned for you!
George Lepeniotis, my co-host, will be back for the new season and we both are looking forward to telling you some great stories about the people and companies driving economic growth in our region. We’re blessed with a really talented team at WNIT and we’re excited about the opportunity to bring you more great quality local programming.
Like before, I’ll anchor from the studio and we’ll send George out into the field to give you a first hand look at some of the places we’re talking about. The WNIT viewing area covers a broad geographic footprint, so we hope to bring you some insight into what’s happening all over the region, including north of the border in Berrien and Cass County Michigan, as well as our Indiana counties including LaPorte, St. Joseph, Elkhart, Marshall and Kosciusko counties.
Our first episode might be one of George and I’s favorites. We spent some time reflecting on and updating some of our key stories from last year, give you a little insight into who George and I are and what we do for a living, and look ahead to the upcoming season. You won’t want to miss it.
I’ve been overwhelmed by the number of you that have shared comments with me on particular episodes. Please continue to do that, we take that feedback and work to make the show better. Your input on story ideas is also helpful, know of a particular place, person, or program helping to drive our region’s economy, make sure we know about us.
You can connect with us a variety of ways. Feel free to email me at jrea@sbrchamber.com; follow me on Twitter at @Jeff_Rea, follow the station on Twitter @wnitpublictv, or like us on Facebook.
One final reminder, you can catch the show Tuesday’s at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday’s at 12:30 p.m. on WNIT. You also can catch your favorite episodes anytime at https://www.wnit.org/economicoutlook
Looking forward to a great season!
