This weeks Economic Outlook program featured a group of panelists that work each day helping their, and other organization(s) grow and prosper by the use of many multi-media, digital marketing techniques. The question really of Digital Marketing today, is can you reach your desired target more frequently and efficiently, without sacrificing a personal targeted message to your prospective customers where you fully engage your target audience? I think we all agree that technology and new ways to communicate our message changes almost daily, but with rapidly changing technology, do we lose our ability to develop and enhance a personal relationship?

The extraordinary panelists we had on the program, strongly substantiated that not only do we reach more people, more often, with more options, but we actually develop a great and more personal relationship with our clientele, as our desired customer feels like we are speaking directly to them. The points brought up on the program by the panel were that Digital Marketing, through social media provides a more significant means to attract, engage, capture, nurture, convert and then measure all of our client interactions in greater detail, and with greater speed. The message we deliver can be more static and flexible, as we can tailor the content to a specific opportunity and then change the message as frequently as we want, or change the message to whomever we want to target more easily.

Keep this in mind, when you consider all of the marketing and advertising strategies that will benefit your company and whether digital marketing is the best strategy to look at when promoting your business, but 81% of all cell phones now in use are smart phone, mobile app. friendly. People want and get their information instantly and immediately with one touch of a button. Over 75% of all internet users utilize some form of social media for their daily interaction, news, insights, updates and feeds, and for the first time ever in our country, more people spend greater time on line, then they do watching television. Digital marketing can target a mass audience, quickly, efficiently, transparently, and with a targeted feel that makes you feel like you do have a personal relationship with the organization. The consensus from the panel, which I concur.Is if an organization does not use Digital Marketing as a key a strategy, they may find themselves more extinct, than the dinosaurs featured in the latest Jurassic Park movie.
