Dinner & A Book - A Hoosier Chronicle

A Hoosier Chronicle was written by Indianapolis popular author Meredith Nicholson in 1912. It's a powerful novel of politics and a society set in Central Indiana, particularly Indianapolis. This book was published at the height of Nicholson's reputation and marked his most ambitious effort as a serious, factually based analysis of politics, the roll of legislative bosses and how progressive reforms were then being promoted in the Hoosier state. Bill Firstenberger joins Gail Martin to find out the how, why and when in early 19th Century Indiana.
