Martin’s Supermarkets School of Cooking
The public can now take cooking classes at the new Martin’s Granger location. Various chefs from the area will be teaching classes with different themes each week. Chef Scott will be putting us in the mood for spring with his recipe for Triple Treat Potato Salad. See the recipe below to make for your next get together.

Triple Treat Potato Salad
Serves approx. 12pp
1-pound sweet potatoes in ¼-1/2 inch dice
1-pound Yukon gold potatoes ¼-1/2 inch dice
1-pound russet potatoes ¼-1/2 inch dice
8 oz Mayonnaise
8 oz sour cream
2 oz fine-diced celery
2 oz fine-diced onion
3 large eggs hard boiled and chopped
.25 oz chopped parsley
.25 oz chopped chervil
2 Tablespoon salt
¼ teaspoon white pepper
Instructions
Peel and dice potatoes and put into a pot of cold water with 1 tablespoon of salt. Bring water to a boil and reduce heat and continue to cook for approximately 7-10 minutes or until potatoes are cooked. Immediately place under cold running water until potatoes have cooled completely. Meanwhile mix all remaining ingredient and then gently fold potatoes into the mix once cool. Chill and serve with appropriate garnish.

These twin sisters are out of Chicago and designers of their own line, Double Stitch. The concept that started out as holiday gifts for family and friends has rapidly expanded into a line of fun and flirtatious designs. We will be having Jaimee model two different outfits that Erika & Monika created. The first crocheted outfit she will be wearing can be worn 33 different ways!

You can check out the longest running play at the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center on the campus of the University of Notre Dame. Jay, who is the director of The Mousetrap, describes it as a “whodunit” murder mystery. Only a few days will be left to check out this production that originated in 1952!
