Lou Pierce
Big Idea Company, L.L.C.

Lou will be discussing the documentary he did for the University of Notre Dame that tells the story of Monk Malloy, entitled, “MONK, Teacher, Priest, President.”

This film was nominated in the category of Outstanding Achievement for Documentary Programs at the 48th annual Chicago/Midwest Emmy Awards. And guess what? The film won! However, as Lou was quoted to say, “Awards are nice but whether we win or not, this nomination is really meaningful. Mostly because at the end of the day it's a film about a priest.”
