Travis Childs
Northern Indiana Center for History
Travis is the Director of School Programs at the Center for History. He talked about their popular Cabin Days program, which will be taking place October 17-20.

Cabin Days teaches students the days of the pioneers in the 1830s who settled in the St. Joseph River Valley. During the program, volunteers dress the part and demonstrate the way life was back then. They have a blacksmith, a woodsman, a "school marm" and even a "doctor" who talks about the uses of leeches in treating fevers.
