Gene Stowe
Author
Gene has written a book entitled, "Inherit the Land: Jim Crow Meets Miss Maggies Will". This book took 13 years to develop and has been described as "a true story based on a novel". Taking place in North Carolina, circa 1920s, this story changed a little southern community forever. It all started when a white woman willed her 800-acre homeplace to a black family and a white jury upheld the will, over the objection of more than 100 cousins, in 1921. It is a story that might just change your way to thinking.
