Our first guest has been involved with antiques for the past 40 years. Mary Ann Ryman, owner of The Carriage Barn Antiques, began with no knowledge or background on antiques. She started by going to Auctions and buying things of lasting value that stand the test of time, furniture pieces being her favorite. Mary Ann sticks to the 1800-1850's time period because they are simple, well-made and usable pieces. As Mary Ann would say, "antiques are the ultimate recyclable", so the next time you are in Goshen, stop by the Old Bag Factory and say hello! Mary Ann will be more then happy to tell you the history on the antique you have your eye on.

We will be in the kitchen preparing a creamy carrot soup with Chef Laurent Robic. Pronounced "Potage Crecy" in French, this hearty soup originates from the eastern side of France, which is known for their carrots and heavy cream. If you are looking into learning some new recipes, why not take a cooking class with Chef Laurent? Starting in May, the public can sign up for numerous classes taught by Chef Laurent in Granger. There is a little bit of something for everyone, so check out the schedule below and sign up today!

Chef Laurent, Inc.
Orquesta Caribe will be performing our music for tonight. This 12-member Latin Jazz & Salsa Orchestra has horns, bongos, bass guitar and more playing as they execute their song, "Mi Nena", which means, "My Little Girl."

Chicago is one of our next guest's favorite places to go and take photographs. From architecture to sculptures to cemeteries, Todd Keller says he enjoys every minute he is out taking pictures. His work is primarily done in black and white because the eye can see the essence of the subject better and doesn't distract the way color photos do. Todd loves cemeteries and spends anywhere from 2-3 hours snapping the beauty of the ware of statues and monuments. Check out the link to see more of his beautiful black and white photographs.

In our LAKE Magazine segment, we will be featuring Patricia Polacco, who has written and published around 70 children's books! Even though Patricia had several learning disabilities, she could not read until she was 14, she overcame them all to become an accomplished author and illustrator.
