Tom Shumaker creates wonderful stone carvings made out of limestone and alabaster. He mostly makes animals and enjoys putting emotion in their faces that delight the people who look at his work. One of Tom's stone carvings can take anywhere from 6 hours to several months to complete and if a piece breaks as he works, Tom isn't worried. His instructor, which he learned under, told him when something like that happens, it gives you an opportunity. The public can see Tom's stone pieces up close at Sycamore Fine Arts Gallery located in the Old Bag Factory in Goshen.

It all started 10 years ago for Rocky Papandria when he watched the Today Show. They were talking about a new invention that would change the mode of travel. A Segway is a two-wheel mode of transportation that is great for the environment and has a very short learning curve once you climb on. From lean steer technology to how far you can travel on a single charge to the 4 gyroscopes that help determine which way you want to go, Rocky is the man to go to in Indiana if you are interested in getting a Segway!
