She first saw a cameo in the movie, "Gone with the Wind," and ever since that movie, Lovina Rutt has loved cameos. Lovina started by opening up a gift shop and called it The Cameo Collection where she imports the cameos from a studio in southern Italy. Almost every piece is hand carved and most are made out of shell. Depending on the quality and size of the cameo they can range from $100 to several thousand dollars! If you are interested in learning more or buying one, check out her website below:

We are on location with Rachel Shenk at her bakery, Rachel's Bread, in downtown Goshen. Using a wood fire oven that her husband built, Rachel made three different kinds of pizza that they offer on Wednesday and Friday nights from 5:30-8pm. Each pizza uses the recipe below for the dough and is proudly made with fresh ingredients! If you are interested in making your own wood fire oven at your house, give Rachel a call and she can give the details on how to build one!

The Southwest Michigan Symphony Orchestra will be performing a unique concert series that will take place at three different venues in March. Carole Catherine and Michelle Bythrow, the director of The Soldier's Tale, talked about how the symphony orchestra is trying to attract a younger and more diverse audience. Performed with only a 7-piece ensemble and 4 actors, The Soldier's Tale is very modern sounding and based on a Russian folk tale that was written in 1918. We also got the chance to talk with Brock Neubauer, Jason Gresl & Megan Hamel, 3 of the actors who portray the Soldier, Devil & Princess. To get tickets or learn more about this series, go to the website below!
- March 8 - New Buffalo Performing Arts Center
- March 9 - The Box Factory
- March 15 - Lake Michigan College Mendel Mainstage
