A paralegal by day and an artist by night, Alida Isola-Wiora has been painting since she was 7 years old when her sister bought Alida a paint set for Christmas. She also will be discussing how President Jimmy Carter chose her artwork and what inspires her to paint beautiful nature scenes.

Sergei Eisenstein's classic black and white, silent film is what Jon will be recommending on this week's Vickers Review.



"Battleship Potemkin" is about the 1905 Russian Revolution that tells the story of the rebellion of the sailors on Potemkin and the innocent civilians who sympathized with them. This motion picture contains one of the most famous sequences in film history, you might want to add it to your "must see" list!

We will be heading over to Granger, Indiana to check out a children's based culinary store called Let's Go Bananas. Tyfanny Mosso, owner, will be filling us in on all the fun things they offer and we will be getting the chance to see the kids make homemade salsa and decorating their punch cups in a cool way!

Garage Voice is made up of a trio of guys from the Berrien Spring, Michigan area who performs a blend of rock and jazz. Now living in Seattle, Washington these talented guys toured all over the country this past year and tonight will be playing their original song, "Safe from All Alarms."
