We’re cooking in the kitchen with Jonathan Lutz from Uptown Kitchen.  Located in the Toscana Park Shopping Centre in Granger, this place is known for having the best veggie burgers in town!  Jonathan will be preparing a healthy but hearty 3-o-3 salad with a homemade garlic & parsley dressing.

On Vickers Review, Jon recommends seeing The Metropolitan Opera.  That’s right, you can now catch a live performance of the Met at your neighborhood movie theater.  What makes the experience even better, is that it is transmitted in high definition.  It will feel like you are actually at The Metropolitan Opera in New York City!  Wondering when you can check out this great opportunity?  Starting on October 19, tickets go on sale at the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center for the December 15 showing of Romeo et Juliette at the Browning Cinema.  Make sure to reserve your tickets today!

Our next guest is Marcus Stephens, a scene designer at the University of Notre Dame. He started out as a fine artist, who got into acting and stumbled into the art of scene design. Marcus says designing sets for theatre is like being "an architect, interior designer and sculptor all rolled into one." You can see his work with the play Savage in Limbo, which starts October 8 and runs until October 12 at the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center. Check out the website below for more info:

Brazilian jazz is tonight’s genre of choice for this episode of Open Studio.  Grazyna Auguscik & Paulinho Garcia will be bringing together fantastic vocals and acoustic guitar for a beautiful duet.  Their song, “Batida Diferente” will have you wanting an encore with these two talented people.

One of our frequent and fun guests is Joe DiMaggio from The Stray Dog Bar & Grill.  He always has a new drink idea to share with the home audience.  This time Joe will be making some fall themed cocktails (with a twist) that will be great to have at your next get together!

We end the program with Experience Michiana at Fritz Olsen Sculptures.  If you are ever up in Sawyer, Michigan, call ahead and see about taking a look around the contemporary fine art gallery.  Or ask about taking a tour of the sculpture garden on a cool fall afternoon.
