The Show

    ECONOMIC OUTLOOK is a stimulating 30-minute program that reaches out to the business and educational decision-makers who explore the risks and opportunities at work in today’s markets. ECONOMIC OUTLOOK discusses issues around economic growth, the impact of education on economic development, key industry sectors, the impact of trade on employment, and a host of related issues.

    ECONOMIC OUTLOOK airs on Fridays at 8:30pm and reairs the following Sunday at 12:30pm.

The Host

Bryant Monteilh is new to Indiana / Michiana. He's originally from Phoenix, Arizona, and comes here directly from the South Suburbs of the Chicago Area.

He's an Anchor / Reporter for Michiana News Channel, providing News for 7 of Federated Media's area radio stations as well as web-casting for MNC.

Bryant has worked in various positions in TV and Radio: From Assignment Editor with Chicago's CLTV, An Investigative Producer & Assignment Editor for WHNT-TV in Huntsville, AL and WTKR in Norfolk, VA. He also worked as a Reporter for WQAD in Moline, IL, A Studio Camera Operator / Production Assistant and Photographer for WPTY in Memphis,TN.

He spent about two years working in The New York Times Broadcast Group's Management Training Program at various TV stations (WTKR, WHNT, & WQAD) within the company.

A graduate of The University of California Berkeley with a major in Mass Communications. He also spent a semester studying Communications and International Relations in London, England at the Polytechnic of Central London but not before being called up from the Marine reserves and serving in Desert Storm.  He served 8 years with the Marines, mostly on the Reserve side.

Bryant has also owned and operated his own remodeling / contracting business In Oakland, CA and Memphis, TN, as well as a video production company specializing in documentaries.

He and his wife Manuela have three children; Bryant, Hannah and David.
